HOW TO STACK Whinny Warmers™

When you want to be sure that the socks stay up over the upper legs overnight, we suggest “stacking” them.  Don’t layer them.  Stack them.

There is plenty of slack in the socks when stacked to keep the legs nice and cozy and stacking them supports the top sock so it stays in place.  Our socks were designed to protect horses from over compression. Thanks to gravity, socks will slip down after some time.  The lower leg will always stay nice and warm, but stacking helps the top of the leg stay warm too, safely.

Use two “Back Leg” size socks.   Put one sock on.  Pull it up above the knee until the “cuff” or bottom of the sock is just below the knee.

Then put the second sock on.  Pull it up until the top of it covers the cuff of the first sock.

step 3

This method of stacking offers so much slack in the socks that even if the horse lies down a number of times during the night, the sock will probably still be up above the knees in the morning. Larger Image.

Whinny Warmers™ are affordable for horse owners.  Keep extra sets on hand washed and ready if you need to stack them to ensure that the upper legs stay covered all night.
